Prayer Card (8-Up) (Backside of Pre-printed)

Memorial prayer cards include a photograph of the deceased person or graphical representation on one side, and a poem, a Scripture, a favorite quotation, or even a short life sketch on the other. The front of your memorial prayer card may either be an image background, or you may choose to use an overhead photograph. Memorial cards for funerals can be printed on heavy-duty card stock or printed onto paper, and then laminated. If you wish to laminate prayer cards, you can print them on ordinary paper as well as on cardstock, and then laminate them.

When you are ready to print out custom funeral prayer cards, you have the option of doing it yourself or hiring a local print shop. Once you are done editing your template, you can either print it on your own home printer or bring it to the printing store. There are even printable prayer card sheets you can buy, edit, and print from a home printer. Printing these at home is a lot more convenient, but you need a printer with good-quality paper.

When printing at home, take care to make sure that each card is on two sides. Last, but certainly not least, cut around the edges of each card with scissors or a paper trimmer.

Once your cards are finished, save the files and print them for testing. Once you get a good print, print and trim your cards. Prayer cards will be printed as 8up, or eight cards per sheet of letter-size paper, so print amounts are smaller because you are printing more than one per sheet.

Pre-printed card stock prayer cards are completely customizable on the back, featuring designs related to the Catholic religion, landscape, or career-oriented background images on the front. The cards can be laminated to last a long time if desired, or printed just like they are.

Since all of our memorial prayer cards are double-sided, we are going to call on the front side, and one on the back side, for discussion purposes only. A photograph is NOT required, and it is strictly left to the family’s decision whether or not they wish to include the photograph on the front or the back of the prayer card.
